ARCHITECTURAL MAPPED PROJECTIONS

We create architectural mapped lighting through the use of our projectors and gobos, which are dichroic glass discs that are resistant to high temperatures and specifically engraved to create graphics and images that adapt perfectly to the selected architectural profiles. The light is projected in a way that exclusively highlights the most significant elements, adapting to shapes and perimeters with extreme precision. This technique is also known as gobo mapping, and its main advantages over traditional architectural lighting are that it requires fewer lighting fixtures and is less invasive. Additionally, it guarantees the exclusion of light from doors, windows, and external spaces, preventing glare, the entry of light into indoor environments, and light pollution.

Illuminate selected parts of a monument or building

With mapped projection, it is possible to illuminate selected parts of buildings or monuments, even with different colors, using one or more projectors placed at a distance from the chosen subject. The technique avoids the traditional installation of multiple light sources on the facades themselves or at the base of the monuments.

Decorate architectural or sculptural surfaces with elegant mapped images

Gobo mapping also allows for the decoration of surfaces with colorful images and motifs while maintaining its characteristics of extreme controllability in precisely mapping surfaces; even with the most colorful and striking decorations, perfect adherence to the shapes and profiles of the chosen subject is guaranteed.

THE TECHNOLOGIES

Image projectors, mapping, and drawing of the mapped gobo are the necessary ‘ingredients’ for creating a mapped projection.
